These are crimes that the State uses to control the citizenry and its activities. Drug Laws also fall into this category but are addressed elsewhere because of the commonalities involved in them. These crimes, like drug crimes, tend to be victimless to rely more or less on the notion that the government is offended by the conduct of the accused.
